Why Selling Theta?

My name is Vlad and I have been actively investing for over 3 years now, but have studied the stock market since I was around 10 years old. As a mathematician, I became even more interested in the underlying math of the financial markets and completed coursework in financial math focusing primarily on options pricing models. Overtime, between my personal risk tolerance, financial goals, and mathematical understanding of the markets, I decided that one of the best methods for consistent income from the stock market was to sell instead of buy options. As such, my preferred strategy is what is commonly referred to as "The Wheel." 

 

I hope that you find this website is informational and can help you to achieve your financial goals as well. The blog outlying the paper-account's trades for the week will be updated every Saturday or Sunday so that you can utilize a similar strategy if you so desire.
